Amanda began her journey as a children’s book author when she was nine years old and wrote Wild White, a story about a white bobcat in Canada.

In 2014 she wrote the interactive ebook You, Kifaru and the Mud Problem as well as book one in her new series Myra and the Magic Motorcycle.

Amanda continues writing whenever she gets the chance, between working and looking after her two sons. In 2016 she wrote The Anger Volcano: A Book About Anger For Kids and Casey and Aon: A Cybersafety Chapterbook For Kids.
